A representative from Matchesfashion asked if I wanted to work in conjunction with them by hosting some content, and I happily agreed :) no, I'm not getting anything in return for this.
So here are some things I picked out, although everything was so pretty there, majority of the stuff was wayyyy out of my price range, but its always good to dream.. right?
It is freeeezing cold in the land down under at the moment, however I think I have been really miss the warmer seasons so that's why I have picked very flowy and clothes more geared around the spring/summer time.
Clicking on the images will direct you to the items on page btw!
D&G
Butterfly-print blouse:
Absolutely loving the soft pastel mixture of colors on this blouse- Steps the femininity (try saying that out loud) up a notch, plus the delicate draping in the middle; love!
Markus lupfer
Lace Shorts:
These shorts look plain but they're actually lace! One might think it's abit too much fabric differences going on, and it might clutter the look, however I think these shorts are pretty versatile as they appear to be plain black shorts from afar, but it actually has a nice lace overlay
CAMILLA SKOVGAARD
Leather lace-up shoes:
I'm a sucker for platform shoes and oxfords, which is why I had to pick these, I'm also really liking that extra heel supprt near the ball of your feet, as platforms are pretty easy to lose balance in :/ The color is also like a soft brown, not like alot of those caramel or plain oxfords that I seem to see everywhere....STELLA MCCARTNEY
Gold plated arrow necklace:
I don't have much to say about this necklace other than I love it! Can spice up or down any outfit, not to mention its kinda girly :)
YVES SAINT LAURENT
Belle du Jour quartz clutch:
Yes. This is the same clutch as the one I put in the polyvore wish list... I really can't get over it lol
although I think I like this one more because of the quartz scattered over the clutch so it will kinda glisten when the light hits it? It's slightly more eye-catching than the plain leather one (which will most likely be scratched so easily in my hands)
So let me know on what you think about these pieces! Would you fork out alot for the sake of brand names?

Love the pieces you picked out. Brand names aren't a big thing to me, but if I could afford something like that, I'd get a Chanel bag hehe
ReplyDeleteSo in love with the butterfly print blouse! And those thingies are so craving me.
ReplyDeletehmmmm! I guess for me it depends on the item in question. If it's a classic that will last for many years to come I think it's worth it (you gotta think about cost per wear!!)
ReplyDeleteBut at this moment in time I wouldn't buy designer shoes. That's a luxury I can't justify right now, especially working in retail when I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day. I'd choose a bag over designer shoes any day. I think a good bag really polishes up an outfit and can last for literally 20 years+ if you take care of it! :)
wow that arrow looks huge!! I like the YSL clutch but too expensive for me!
ReplyDeleteWow, lovely blog!
